About

This is the personal blog of John Hague, currently a Senior Client Solution Architect within VMware PSO and 2017 – 2020 vExpert. I have worked in the IT field for 20 years performing a variety of roles across operations, engineering and architecture.

I first started woking with virtualization in 2005, supporting what was at the time, one of the largest VMware deployments in the world. At that time it felt like a pretty mind blowing concept, particularly as the scale I was working with and it became my niche area of expertise from then on. I acquired my first VCP on VI3 in 2008. More recently I’ve been architecting VMware-based Cloud and SDDC solutions at Atos and VMware.

Over the years I have managed to pick up a few certifications, the most notable of which are listed below.

TOGAF 9 Certified
VCIX6.5-DCV
VCIX6-DCV
VCAP7-CMA Design
VCAP-CID Design
VCP-DCV 3/4/5/6/6.5/6.7
VCP6-NV
VCP7-CMA
VCP-Cloud
MCITP 2008
MCSE 2003
