VMware has announced today that they have extended general support to October 15, 2022. It had been intended to go out of support this year (11 months, to October 15, 2022). This is a great move and I know first hand how many customers have been forced to put on hold intended, or even in-flight, projects as part of their response to COVID-19. This announcement will provide some breathing space to plan the move to what in my view is a transformational release in vSphere 7.
